Students will be taking school photos tomorrow through Lifetouch. Our class will take pictures at 10:10 in the morning. Please make sure students are prepared but still comfortable for the rest of the day.
Cool off with Kona Ice on Monday, August 22 at 3:15pm on the blacktop! $3, $4, $5, and $6 options will be available. Thank you for supporting Hedenkamp’s 6th Grade Class!
Don’t forget, tomorrow is our APEX Fun Run. Third graders are running from 9-10am. You are welcome to come cheer us on and/or help mark laps on t-shirts. Students will receive their t-shirts in class tomorrow morning before the run. Please remember to send students with appropriate running clothes, hats, sunscreen and with a water bottle! Also, login to apex funrun.com and place any last donations!
Hello Parents,
My school email is working now, so you may email me at kristina.rynd@cvesd.org. I was also able to start Class Dojo. I sent home a letter about how to join today, so please look out for that. I also sent an email to parents with an invite for signing up.
The students are doing great and are very excited for the APEX Fun Run on Thursday August 18th! Please remember to log your donations in online (www.apexfunrun.com) using the access code that was given to the students with their lanyards. APEX leaders visit our classroom everyday to give one of their Team Day lessons and also to give students the prizes that they earned based on the donations that have been logged online.

Thank to those who came to Back to School Night last Wednesday! If you were unable to attend, here is the PowerPoint presentation that I did which includes all the information that was discussed: Back to School Night PowerPoint.
I also wanted to mention that I’m very sorry that I haven’t been able to communicate with you through the email that I shared with you on Back to School Night (kristina.rynd@cvesd.org). The school district is still working on getting me set up with my email.
